This alarming trend inspired me to introduce the Young Adults Safety Act, which would provide the capacity to help develop model programs to help low-resource teens and young adults acquire a driver's license or regain their license after a suspension. Make no mistake: Those with a flagrant disregard for public safety don't belong behind the wheel. The Defund Planned Parenthood Act of 2015 – a bill that will never become law – is an immense waste of time and taxpayer money. After careful consideration, I will support the Iran nuclear agreement. Over the past eighteen months, U.S. negotiators have worked diligently to bring about a deal between Iran and the P5+1 (U.S., U.K., Russia, France, Germany and China) that peacefully prevents Iran from developing a nuclear weapon.
