Moore gave Trudeau kudos for his move to elect a gender-equal cabinet. GOP presidential candidate Carly Fiorina outlined what it means to be a feminist with a hopeful message, emphasizing “choice” as a catalyst for women to live “lives of dignity and purpose and meaning.” Rep. Donna F. Edwards took a stand with President Barack Obama’s on his criminal justice initiative to #BanTheBox, which delays former convicts from revealing their criminal history on federal job applications. Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee criticized newly-elected House Speaker Paul Ryanfor the 2016 House of Representatives calendar schedule released on Tuesday, which calls for 111 work days - or a two day work week.
