Congresswoman Gwen Moore Applauds Climate Summit Congresswoman Moore released the following statement: “On day one, President Biden made a commitment to fighting climate change by reinstating the United States in the Paris Climate Agreement. He continues to show tremendous leadership by engaging other world leaders at the Climate Summit, which is critical because addressing the climate crisis requires a global effort. I appreciate his pledge to reduce our carbon emission by half in less than ten years. I look forward to working with the Biden administration to advance policies that create good-paying jobs in clean energy sectors and protect the health of our planet and our communities, particularly those most at-risk to the impact of climate change.” |
