Gwen Moore Visits Golda Meir School, Participating in the 12th Annual SIFMA Foundation Stock Market Game – Capitol Hill Challenge

As Financial Literacy Month comes to a close, it is important to recognize that financial literacy isn't just a concept that should be embraced by adults. All Americans – regardless of age – should equip themselves with the tools and knowledge to achieve their financial goals.
 
WASHINGTON, DC – Today, Congresswoman Gwen Moore (WI-04) visited students at Golda Meir School who are participating in the 12th annual Securities Industry and Financial Markets Association (SIFMA) Foundation Capitol Hill Challenge. In honor of this event, Congresswoman Moore issued the following statement:
 
“I am delighted to see so many passionate students taking part in a challenge that underscores the importance of saving and investing, while simultaneously promoting a better understanding of our government. This fun and unique program enables participants to explore the global economy and learn how to make educated and successful decisions with their money.
