Congresswoman Gwen Moore Slams Gutting of 6th St Reconstruction Project Funding in GOP's Big Bonanza for Billionaires “Republicans would rather giveaway more tax goodies to the richest in our nation than fund health care, nutrition, clean energy, and safer communities. I was a champion of the 6th Street Reconstruction effort, which would have supported safer roads and walkability and reduced sewer overflows. It was a critical project that was seriously needed here in Milwaukee. Sadly, Republicans, including Wisconsin’s own Ron Johnson, placed tax goodies for billionaires above investments in our communities.”
