MILWAUKEE, WI – Congresswoman Gwen Moore’s office will be joined by the offices of U.S. Senators Ron Johnson and Tammy Baldwin, Congressmen Mark Pocan, Glenn Grothman, Bryan Steil, and representatives from all five military academies in holding Milwaukee’s Annual Academy Day at Alexander Hamilton High School on Saturday, March 11, 2023, from 9:00 am to 12:00pm.

In response, Congresswoman Moore released the following statement:

“Academy Day is a unique opportunity for interested students to learn more about what it takes to become a U.S. Military Officer. I enjoy meeting and seeing so many young people passionate and interested in serving our country. Students will have the opportunity to speak with representatives from all five U.S. Service Academies (including some current cadets and midshipmen) about the challenging and rewarding academic and leadership experiences each academy has to offer. I am confident that Academy Day will provide information and personal accounts that will help guide students’ decisions.”
