Congresswoman Gwen Moore DOUBLES HELP FOR Wisconsin Families to Pay Energy Bills This Winter Milwaukee, Wisconsin — Today, Congresswoman Gwen Moore highlighted a new report from the White House outlining how she helped delivered more than double the annual investment to help more Wisconsin families afford energy costs. In total, Congresswoman Gwen Moore helped secure $246.3 million for Wisconsin through the Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP) in the American Rescue Plan and annual appropriations. As Wisconsinites continue to deal with the impacts of the pandemic, eligible residents can use these investments to lower the costs of staying warm this winter, cover utilities, and pay for energy repairs.
