Ron Kind’s Retirement Congresswoman Gwen Moore released the following statement: “Ron Kind epitomizes what it means to be a public servant, bringing the voices and needs of his constituents to Congress and championing Wisconsin dairy and farmers. He respects our institutions and carries himself in a way that brings honor to the House. I have the honor of serving with him on the Ways and Means Committee, where he advocates for rural communities and is always a gentleman. During his public service, he played a pivotal role in expanding access to affordable health care and supported policies that helped our economy recover after the 2008 recession. He is an effective leader who knows how to get things done, and Wisconsinites have benefited from his selfless service.
