Congresswoman Gwen Moore Recognizes One Year Anniversary of Molson Coors Shooting Today, on the first anniversary of the Molson Coors shooting, Congresswoman Moore released the following statement: “Our city remembers and continues to grieve with the families of the victims who were tragically taken from us a year ago today. Trevor, Dana, Dale, Jesus, and my friend Gene whom I miss dearly, went to work and never came home. My heart goes out to their families, friends, and the Molson Coors community. Please know that your loved ones are not forgotten and that our community continues to grieve with you. Gun violence continues to be a major epidemic in our country, and as a lawmaker, I join Milwaukee in mourning the precious lives lost and recommitting to passing commonsense gun reform. Our community members should feel safe going to work, school, church, or the store without fear of losing their lives to gun violence. That’s why our country needs stronger gun control legislation now.” |
