Wisconsin lawmakers pay their respects to Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg

(TMJ 4) WISCONSIN — Wisconsin lawmakers are paying their respects to Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg Friday evening, after it was announced she passed away at the age of 87. Sen. Tammy Baldwin (D - WI) said in a Tweet: "Ruth Bader Ginsburg lived an inspiring and historic life, and her work has shaped America for the better. As a woman, I join so many others who will not allow her legacy to be diminished or disrepected." Sen. Ron Johnson (R - WI) also said on Twitter: "My prayers go out to her loved ones." Rep. Ron Kind said (D - Eau Claire): "Tonight, we lost a trailblazer, a tireless advocate for equality, & a true champion for justice. America is better because of Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg, & her impact will be felt for generations to come. Mine & Tawni’s prayers are with her family, and may she rest in peace." Rep. Gwen Moore (D - Milwaukee): "I am incredibly saddened to learn of Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg's passing. She was a fearless champion for women who exemplified strength, courage, and toughness... Her lifelong fight to secure equality for women has inspired new generations and her legacy will be cherished in the hearts of so many. She will always be forever notorious!
