Congresswoman Moore Recognizes the 35th Anniversary of the Family Violence Prevention and Services Act “For 35 years, the Family Violence Prevention and Services Act (FVPSA) has provided funding to solely address domestic violence and support survivors with emergency housing and specialized care for children. The FVPSA revolutionized how our nation responds to domestic violence by addressing the issue through a public health lens and partnering with states, tribes, and local advocates to meet the needs of survivors. I cannot think of a better time than during Domestic Violence Awareness Month, to recognize and recommit to supporting this legislation.”
