House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi is coming to town.
By Mary Spicuzza House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi is coming to town. The California Democrat is set to appear with U.S. Rep. Gwen Moore (D-Milwaukee) Friday night at a fundraiser for Democrats. The event will be a dinner benefiting the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee (DCCC) at Potawatomi Hotel & Casino. Tickets for that event start at $2,500 for supporters and climb to $33,900 for the "Speaker's Cabinet" level. Pelosi and Moore are also both scheduled to appear at a Saturday morning "Let's Turn Wisconsin Blue" fundraiser in Milwaukee. Tickets for Saturday's fundraiser range from $50 to $2,500. Both are then scheduled to appear at an 11 a.m. event with Citizen Action Wisconsin and others "to stand in opposition to Republican attacks on Medicare, Medicaid and the Affordable Care Act," Moore said in a release.
