A Wisconsin Democrat sent a lengthy letter to the Senate's top law enforcement officer, asking him to protect young staffers from Judge Roy Moore, should he become Senator Roy Moore.

Rep. Gwen Moore of Milwaukee asked Sergeant at Arms Frank Larkin to be aware of "the threat to the safety of the young men and women working in the United States Senate Page Program" in the event Roy Moore is elected.

In the letter, obtained by Bloomberg News, Congresswoman Moore reiterated several allegations against Judge Moore, including reports he was "banned from the Gadsden Mall... for soliciting sex from minor girls."

She also mentioned the report from a woman who said Moore propositioned her when she was 14.

She said Judge Moore had allegedly had "inappropriate relationships with at least ten minors."

"Being away from home also puts these young people in a very vulnerable position," Gwen Moore said. "I believe my fears are well founded."

The congresswoman referenced the 2006 Mark Foley scandal, in which former Rep. Mark Foley (R-Fla.) resigned after it was revealed he sent inappropriate messages to a male page.

"We need to be vigilant stewards of these children going forward," Gwen Moore said.
