Moore looks forward to congressional debate on Syria

U.S. Rep. Gwen Moore (D-Wis.) said in a statement that she was pleased President Barack Obama had decided to seek congressional authorization for mmilitary action in Syria.
 
"The atrocious acts President Assad has committed against his people are a direct violation of human rights and a threat to our international peace. I am pleased President Obama has decided to seek congressional authorization for military action in Syria.
 
"I will  continue to fully review the recent intelligence regarding the chemical attacks in Syria. I look forward to engaging in a comprehensive and productive debate on whether the United States should take military action.”
