Dear friend,
I hope you are having a great start to the New Year! I want to share how my office helps deliver for residents of Wisconsin’s Fourth Congressional District. My Milwaukee office has dedicated caseworkers who are experienced in navigating federal agencies and helping people receive their benefits, such as Social Security and VA payments, helping with immigration and IRS issues, and recovering federal resources for small businesses. For example, my team has helped small business owners receive the Employee Retention Credit – a refundable tax credit created to help small businesses retain their employees during the height of the pandemic. This meant these small businesses could continue employing their staff, helping their business remain open. Our caseworkers have also helped my constituents with processing their Social Security Disability Insurance (SSDI) claim. My team’s assistance helped them receive a favorable determination, which meant they could finally access SSDI benefits after a lengthy process.
Our office also has many success stories from assisting our veterans. Caseworkers in my office have helped veterans with their disability claims, assisting them with securing a 100 percent service-connection disability rating, so they can receive benefits earned in service along with back pay.
This continued advocacy has brought hundreds of thousands in benefits to my constituents – this year alone.
I am proud to have a hardworking team who helps my constituents retrieve federal funds owed to them. As always, my office is here to help. If you are a resident of WI-04, and need assistance, please don’t hesitate to reach out to my district office 414-297-1140.
Your friend,
Gwen
