Dear friend,
I hope you are having a great start to this new year. Having health care coverage is so important and I want my constituents to take advantage of the lower Affordable Care Act (ACA or Obamacare) premiums. There’s an important deadline coming up. This Wednesday, January 15th is the deadline for the Affordable Care Act (ACA or Obamacare) open enrollment.
Open enrollment is the time period (from November 1st to January 15th), where you can choose a new health care plan or change your current health care plan. And there’s great news: Thanks to premium subsidies advanced by Democrats, health care plans are more affordable! 4 out of 5 Americans found plans for $10 or less a month. These plans cover critical care, such as primary care and prescription medicine. While you still have time, the deadline is getting close. Head to HealthCare.gov to learn more.
