I also wanted to amplify some energy assistance information I shared with you last month as a reminder. The Low-Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP) is a resource eligible families can use to pay for home heating costs, help families afford air conditioning bills in the winter, and weatherize homes to make them more energy efficient.
If you are unsure of your eligibility, use this tool to see if you qualify. To apply, head to energyhelp.us or call the National Energy Assistance Referral (NEAR) hotline toll-free at 1-866-674-6327.
