The Advance Child Tax Credit (CTC) payments included in the American Rescue Plan will do a lot of good for families, and I want my constituents to be aware of the resources available to help families who want to receive these benefits monthly. The IRS is holding Free Tax Prep Days in Milwaukee to assist families who qualify for the monthly Advance Child Tax Credit payments but don’t need to file a tax return and didn’t use the IRS non-filer portal to receive a stimulus check.
