Congresswoman Gwen Moore, Representing the 4th District of Wisconsin

Dear Friends,

With Thanksgiving behind us and Christmas fast approaching, I’m so pleased to have this opportunity to wish you and your families a safe and happy holiday season. This year, I encourage my fellow Wisconsinites to join together with loved ones and express gratitude for all that we have been blessed with.

During this joyous time, let us reflect upon the values that we wish to embody. Love our fellow man and woman as we would love ourselves, tend to the hungry and the sick, and be our brother’s and sister’s keeper. I held these values dear as a single mother in Milwaukee, as a member of the Wisconsin State Senate, and I continue to be guided by these principles as your member of Congress. Regardless of your beliefs, I hope that the spirit of the season will motivate you to better yourselves and to help others as we move forward into the New Year.

I especially urge you to help the least fortunate members of our community during the holidays. Please visit our friends at the Volunteer Center of Greater Milwaukee if you would like to volunteer.

As the year comes to a close, I look forward to continuing to work for you and with my colleagues in the House to ensure that Wisconsin’s 4th Congressional District will enjoy a safe and prosperous 2016.

Sincerely,

Gwen
